- Physical Description
- It measures 7.2 cm by 9 cm. On one side, there is an elaborate pattern around the border. On the inside of that border there is an image of what appears to be a field and farm. On top of the image it says 'Ten Shillings' and underneath the image it says, 'To Counterfeit is Death.' Beneath that, it says, 'Printed by HALL and SELLERS.' On the other side, there is the image of pillars around the border and it says 'Ten Shillings' on all four sides. Beneath the top border, it says 'No. 22.926.' The number is handwritten while the rest appears to be printed. Beneath that it says, 'TEN SHILLINGS, According to an Act of GENERAL ASSEMBLY of Pennsylvania; passed in the 13th Year of the Reign of King GEORGE the Third. Dated the First Day of October, 1773. TEN SHILLINGS.' Some of the letters are in red. Below the printed information, there are three signatures. They are William Wister, Samuel Miles, and Owen Jonessun.
